The CVRD recently learned it will receive a $500,000 grant from the BC Rural Dividend Program to complete the Saltair section of the Trans Canada Trail. Construction of the trail from Dogwood Road to Stocking Creek Park can start in the fall but most of the work is expected to take place in early 2018.
